quietnote is a new business that hopes to shine a unique light on the practice of meditation and mindfulness all through the power of music. At the heart of quietnote is a journey to help people find a healthier wellbeing and overall happier outlook on life. quietnote was founded and set up by Will Crawford. He had the idea and vision when he noticed the strong similarities between his musical practice and his spiritual practises.
“We can all relate to how powerful and moving music is. Music has always been there, to boost our highs or to comfort our lows. I have been studying music my entire life and I am still realising its enormous potential for improving wellbeing, mental and physical health. At the same time since my early adulthood I have become more serious about embodied practices, meditation and mindfulness. Whilst learning and practising I am constantly reminded of similar feelings and emotional revelations that I have only experienced through music. There has always been a close connection with spirituality and music, from Tibetan Monks using singing bowls in their meditation to African Tribes using percussion and drones in their rituals. I wanted to find my own way of bringing music and spirituality together and so I thought up quietnote and with the help of a fantastic team I have been extremely proud to see it brought to life. We want to make sure that you are getting the most out of your time, so we offer a range of meditations in time, depth and experience. If you are wanting a more serious commitment, we would suggest looking at one of our courses but if you are just wanting a way to unwind for 5 minutes, we have plenty of short and easy tracks which are perfect for making that little bit of time for yourself.

Not only is the music specifically written for the exercise, but we have personally designed soft animations for each of our videos to help create a visual stimulus. In some cases, the animation actually helps lead you through the meditation. We want to go that extra step as well, not only do we operate on an online basis we want to work with you in your community. We offer the opportunity for you to book a trained and experienced mindfulness practitioner to come to your event, workplace, school, community group or anywhere you would like and lead a session in musical mindfulness. We believe it is extremely important that you have the opportunity to experience mindfulness not just online but also in-person. Having this experience can offer you a deeper understanding leading to a healthier experience, better mind set, calmer body and an overall healthier wellbeing.
